Situated in a quiet suburb just 10 minutes drive from the central city, an easy 15 minutes stroll to the zoo and MOTAT and Western Springs, is Malvern bed and breakfast. Our bed and breakfast is a new addition to our 90 year old bungalow in a well established area of Auckland with interesting walks and local history. Take advantage of our local knowledge to get the most of your stay in Auckland.
We have two rooms available, one queen and one king/twin room. The beds are super comfy. There is a shared ensuite wet area (with hand rails) bathroom and it is all wheelchair accessible – works well we are told by our guests! Book one room or pay a little extra and secure the whole unit for yourselves – ideal for families, honeymooning couples, groups of friends… Babysitting is also available at an hourly rate.
Relax in the combined dining/living area, use the kitchenette to create your own home away from home, enjoy breakfast in the sunny outdoor area. A large trampoline and a swing set are available for children and the young at heart. We also have bicycles available for your use.
For the sports mad amongst you, it takes half an hour to walk to Eden Park – home to cricket and rugby. Paul will happily talk sport as long as you want! Our tariff includes a self serve breakfast of home made bread, gluten free muesli and yoghurt, and a selection of cereals, fresh fruit and spreads, with tea, coffee and juice.
We use organic eco friendly toiletries and cleaning products in our home and have had great feedback from allergy sufferers about the pleasure of staying here. Cleaning and linen (100% cotton sheets and towels) are provided as part of the tariff.
