The New Plymouth Coastal Walkway is a 12.7km path that goes from Pioneer Park to the eastern side of Bell Block Beach on the New Plymouth waterfront. It is ideal for walking, running, skating, cycling or wheeling. The views of the dramatic west coast are amazing!
Electric mobility scooters can be hired free of charge. They are restricted to the coastal walkway between Port Taranaki and Te Rewa Rewa Bridge. The service is run by Taranaki Disabilities Trust. Bookings are essential so call 06-759 6060 or email [email protected]
