A popular destination in Wellington, Days Bay in Eastbourne, is a 30 minute drive from Wellington City, or alternatively you can catch a Ferry.
In the summer months, The Hutt City Council provide beach access mats at Days Bay. Outside of this period the council will make the mat available for groups to hire out if needed to improve access at programmes, activities or events.
