Napier offers a huge variety of beach experiences within a short distance. Westshore, Waimarama, Ocean Beach, Waipatiki are some of the beautiful, and accessible beaches within the Hawkes Bay Region.
The Napier Council have an all-terrain wheelchair available for use on beaches as well as for walks within the area.
The wheelchair is free to use, however a refundable $50 deposit is required. You can book online here.
The pick-up and drop off point for the chair is Kennedy Park Resort, located on Storkey Street, Napier.
