Queenstown
Queenstown sits on the shores of Lake Wakatipu among the alpine ranges. It has been described as the adventure capital of New Zealand. Popular activities to do in Queenstown are bungy jumping, skiing, jet boating and river rafting. There are also a number of cycling trails in the area. Queenstown is one of the hot spots to go in the South Island. We would recommend you book accommodation close to the waterfront, as the town is quite hilly. This would make it easier to wheel around the town centre.
